That’s what really matters.
And again, most fighters AREN’T doing this.
They’re simply throwing themselves right into training camp, still soft and fluffy.
Extremely out of shape, extremely weak, extremely vulnerable to stress.
Then, they make a mad dash to add as much muscle, strength, power, and cardio as possible in the average 8 weeks leading up to the fight.
And this approach usually ends with something missing.
It could be less than 100% conditioning, a tough weight cut, a lack of power, or something else. There’s almost ALWAYS gaps if you don’t prepare properly.
